30x40cm Mixed media on paper (watercolor, fine liners, soft pastel) 
This is one of my favorite plein air paintings. While painting, it began to rain, causing a flowing effect on the paper. I allowed these vertical washes to narrate the story of the painting. The dynamic of brisk brush strokes adds an expressionistic essence to this piece. The fresh, vibrant green hues impart a sense of nature's renewal after the rain. Rieselfeld, Germany. 2020.
